Learning to Be Better Teachers

The 4-week program is designed as an immersive experience to build capacities of newly recruited faculty to perform their role as educators. It introduces them to approaches for holistic development of students, teaching-learning methods & skills in assessment.

This residential program enables faculty members understand the ecosystem of higher education and its purpose. It enhances their understanding & skills related to teaching-learning and assessment, emphasizing student-centric and active learning approaches. Exposure visits and interactions support development of a broad vision of education and identify ways to enable holistic development of students. Interactive and participatory sessions create a conducive environment to understand student diversity in the class and evolve inclusive strategies for all types of learners. Sessions on Institution Development, National Education Policy (NEP 2020), and emerging domains in technology & other fields help build leadership capacities of the new faculty.

Open to newly recruited faculty members from all disciplines of higher education
