The programme offers practical guidance for conducting rigorous and impactful qualitative research in higher education.

This three-day programme provides a comprehensive exploration of qualitative research methodologies. Participants will engage with key aspects of qualitative study design, interviews, focus group discussions, observations, document analysis, coding, thematic analysis, and research reporting. The programme also introduces emerging AI-enabled approaches that can support qualitative research processes.

The Faculty Development Programme on Qualitative Research Design Methods and Analysis is designed to strengthen participants understanding of qualitative inquiry and its applications in academic research. The programme covers the foundations of qualitative research, research designs, data collection techniques, data analysis strategies report writing, and the use of AI tools in qualitative research. Through expert-led sessions and practical insights, participants will develop the competencies required to design, conduct, and communicate high-quality qualitative studies.
