Program Overview

The programme is designed to familiarise participants with the various sophisticated instruments and its handling in field of science and technology through the high-end laboratory available at KBCNMU.

Program Content

The six-day face-to-face program for the UG/PG teachers and research scholars includes an overview to the topic followed by subject-wise breakout sessions focusing on subject-specific activities. These include various morphological characterisation techniques such as (FESEM and AFM), structural characterisation technique (XRD, Raman, FTIR, Particle Size Analyzer, and TGA-DTA-DSC) and UV-Visible Spectroscopy, Photoluminuses system, Dectac profilometer, Impedance Spectroscopy, Solar Cell & OLED characterisation system etc.

The Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon (formerly known as North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon) started its academic and administrative functioning from the academic year 1991-92. The University has well-equipped research laboratories with state-of-the-art equipments. This is the only Indian State Public University to have participated in ERASMUS consortium project aimed at establishing a capacity building centre.
