Program Overview

The program emphasises on outdoor experiential facilitation as an approach to enhance leadership quality thus enables participants to be a better human and effective professional. The outdoor activities are designed to encourage critical thinking and appreciate fear-free learning environment.

Program Content

The program introduces innovative outdoor based experiential structured activities that makes teamwork, strategy building and addressing challenges as a necessary process in achieving desired goal. The reflective discussions post-activities focus on behaviour, leadership traits and roles played by group members a process of thus understanding group dynamics. The program process challenges hierarchy and offers experiences that enable participants appreciate “being equal” as a value. It provides an opportunity for the participants to experience outside classroom process as a great ‘leveller’ and enabling building trust amongst each other.

Knowledge Partner

High Places Management Pvt. Ltd. pioneered the concept of Outdoor-based Management Development programs (OMD) in India in 1989 and is specialised in this field. It has developed its own purpose-built outdoor training centre called Garudmachi near Tamhini Ghat. OMD are customised programs to meet the training objectives. Each program has the right mix of outdoor activities and review sessions. Garudmachi provides appropriate ambience for different kinds of training programs.
