Flourishing of Youth
Program Overview
The program aims to ignite a deeper search for purpose in life among youth. The focus is development of youth as individuals beyond being looked upon as ‘customers’ or ‘voters’. The process involves nurturing young people to take control of their lives, understand social problems and find their ways of addressing them.
Program Content
In this program, participants deliberate on the relevant issues like purpose of life, understanding needs as different from wants and social action. Sessions follow innovative pedagogies like songs, case study-based discussions, role plays, article reading and many more. The program offers unique learning opportunities and platform for young people to find meaning and purpose to their personal & professional life.
Knowledge Partner
Nirman is a programme of SEARCH (Society for Education, Action and Research in Community Health) was founded in 1986 by Dr. Abhay Bang and Dr. Rani Bang for rural healthcare and research. Nirman is a youth initiative to identify, nurture and organize young change makers to solve various societal challenges. It is an educational process to train the youth to take up crucial issues and problems in the society. Nirman provides guidance, expertise and environment to inculcate self-learning and encourages youth for social action.
