Program Overview
NEP 2020 proposes the revision and revamping of all aspects of the education structure, including its regulation and governance, to create a new system that is aligned with the aspirational goals of 21st century education, including SDG4, while building upon India’s traditions and value systems.
With an objective to facilitate the leadership in higher education to implement NEP 2020, the training program ‘Roadmap to Reforms in Higher Education’ offers a deep understanding of NEP 2020 and an immersed discussion and deliberation on implementation issues of the policy. It tackles the most important aspects of policy like governance in HEIs, academic leadership development, organisation network in the university/institution and many more.
Program Content
The sessions range from understanding the spirit of NEP to the aspects like interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches in education, fostering the unique capabilities of each student and sustainable development goals, institutional restructuring, transformation of regulatory system of higher education, supporting vibrant teaching and research culture on campus, andragogy, vocational education and like. Sessions offer a wide range of activities like presentations, games, visits and panel discussions that lead to networking and experience sharing amongst participants.
