Program Overview:

The purpose of the program is to introduce Art as integral to learning as it can enable the capacity of person to observe, reflect and express – critically and creatively. Also, it has the potential of building capacity of a person to remain intellectually, emotionally, socially healthy. Thus, adding immense value in the holistic development of teachers and students.

Program Content:

The program adopts ‘Art Integrated Learning’ pedagogy wherein teacher-participant are introduced to art-based activities like photography, collage-making, drawing/designing. These activities encourage participants to think out-of-the-box, connect it to their subject content and its concept.

Sir J.J Group of Institutions, Mumbai, is one of the pioneering fine art education institutes established in 1878. The institution stands in the heritage building with departments of drawing and painting, sculpture and modelling, mural, portraiture, printmaking, arts and crafts including ceramics, interior decoration, metal work and textiles.
